Tumescent liposuction procedures

Tumescent liposuction cannulas used, which have been miniaturized so that they are absorbed through much smaller openings in the skin. A series of small holes on the skin around the treated area will be placed in tumescent liposuction (instead of a few large holes in other techniques of liposuction used). The needles used in the tumescent technique is inserted through these small openings and the fat is removed.

The term “tumescent” means swollen and firm, which is how this technique can prepare the fat for the acquisition. In tumescent liposuction, is a solution of lidocaine (local anesthetic) into the fatty tissue area with a solution to the blood vessels constrict (usually injected adrenaline). Lidocaine injection into the tumescent liposuction procedure will be absorbed by fat tissue and causes the tissue to become swollen and firm. A large area of fatty tissue can anaesthetized with this technique, so that a large area of liposuction to be performed while the patient is under local anesthesia.

The adrenaline used in tumescent liposuction makes blood vessels constrict or decrease in the range of procedures, which was a number of advantages mentioned above. Vasoconstriction limits blood loss during tumescent liposuction procedure and provides a longer lasting anesthesia, less blood lidocaine procedures carried away because the area.

According to the tumescent liposuction, liposuction the area to remain immobile for 36 hours without a new injection of lidocaine or other pain relievers.
